A great tradition is learned in America — Giving thanks
Today is Thanksgiving in America. Thanksgiving is one of the best traditions I have learned from my American friends. Since I learned this heartwarming tradition that happens every year on the 4th Thursday of November, I’ve been carrying it on in my life and I wanted to share it with you. I invite you to create a habit of this special day every year, at this time but also everyday even if you have 2 minutes to thank what you have in life.
Every year on this day, I sit down and thank everything I have now and I have had in the past. I’m very thankful for my parents, my husband, my friends, the people I loved and are no longer in this world, and also the people who are still alive but no longer in my life. I am grateful for all of them. They all have been either great loving relationships or great life lessons for me.
I also thank my body, maybe the most important thing that we all should be thankful for. Thank you to my body that has been dealing with my crazy dreams and always keeping me going. Right? We forget to thank our bodies because they do the most of our work!
There is one thing I have always been very thankful for, that is my dreams and life purpose. My soul who has been a rule breaker, disruptive, and a huge believer! So thankful for you.
