Coffee o’clock (a.k.a. YOU-time)

It’s simple and SUPER POWERFUL to have a “Coffee o’clock” in your life. Coffee o’clock means having you-time, where you can be with yourself. In this sacred time, you can listen to your intuitive self, do whatever you feel like doing without thought to be productive or useful to anyone but yourself… Just BEING…

Sometimes the reason of all the fights we have internally or externally (with someone) is really the lack of “you-time”.

How do you know, when you’re lacking of you-time

Symptoms:

- Your chest may feel tight, you can’t breathe properly.

- You feel hungry but nothing satisfies your taste…

- You lack interest in the things you used to enjoy or those things lose their meaning.

- You get angry easily, you just want to complain about everything.

- You are physically ok, but you feel extremely UNHAPPY and LOST.

- You might cry for no reason,

But it is ok my friend because I have been there and many of us have.

Actually, I can admit, while writing this those same feels can return because those feels are very real for me. I get it, I know it is tough and I know the desire for control of life and to live those dreams. However, sometimes we have to go through these emotions in order to get back to gratitude and find our inner Joyy again! That’s why I am here to help you.

Coffee o’clock is exactly why what write, and we need in life. We need OUR time to heal. We need some time just to BE without thinking about others or productivity, without worrying about the world’s issues.

How can we create this time and what do we do

Good news!!

You don’t need any fancy stuff here, meaning; you don’t need a lot of money to create your own time nor do you need a fancy place to go… You only need a COMMITMENT. You have to commit that you are going to have “you-time/coffee o’clock” every single day no matter what. When you are committed to having your coffee o’clock time, it’s easy to create how it would look like for you.

Coffee o’clock…

Let’s draw a picture of your Coffee o’clock.

Find a place where you can be with just YOU. It can be your bedroom, study room, or a coffee shop where you feel connected to your soul.

Find a couple of things that give you peace and make you feel good. Be sure you have these things if necessary. These can be a special cup of coffee, a song, a book…etc.

Then all you have to do is keep it simple.

Stay in that place with your Coffee o’clock and just BE… You can write, you can close your eyes and meditate, you can do whatever you want but remember to be still and stay silent to attract peacefulness…

I’ll give you an example from my life and how it shifts my day whenever I do this. First, I love exploring new coffee shops. Whenever I feel stuck, uninspired or happy, excited, (yes both in opposite feelings), I pack my laptop, a book, and my notebook and go to a coffee shop. Then I order my special cup of coffee and find a place to sit. Then, I do nothing, just take a few sips from my coffee while breathing slowly and looking around me. I put my favorite song on my ear pods, open up my laptop, and start writing whatever comes in mind. Sometimes I do freewriting, sometimes I get inspired and write a new blog, like this one. During that time, I always feel my happiest in the world. I feel so inspired, alive, and connected to the Universe. And love sharing these moments with you.

I want to inspire you to find yourself through you-time, and to enjoy it.
