How to Start a Monday with Joy!

In my culture, there is a saying: ‘How you start something leads the way with the same vibration.’

I believe that how you start your week is crucial for the rest of it. So, how can you begin your week with a fresh mind and in a productive way?

Over the past 10 years, I have been an entrepreneur and I mostly work from home. It was very challenging for me to keep up my motivation and really make my days productive. But I’ve created a morning routine that has been working out for me.

Here is what I do:

I wake up early. My husband goes to work early in the morning, he leaves home around 6:25. I wake up with him, and start tidying the house while he gets ready for work. Then when he leaves, I continue tidying the house such as; taking out the trash, making the bed..etc. When the house is cleaned up, I take a shower and dress up. This is maybe my number one key point to keep my motivation up. I dress up every day even if I don’t leave the house. I dress up and feel good in my body.

After getting my self ready; I brew some coffee, light a candle, take my notebook, laptop, a glass of water, and sit in silence. I meditate for 20 min. Then write a little bit while having a cup of coffee. While doing these, I already feel peaceful and ready for my weekly goals. I then pick up my pen and…
