The importance of doing our part in a diverse world!
I want to talk about RESPECT this week even though we are almost done and the weekend has just started.
Last week, my husband and I were in Salzburg, Austria, and Munich, Germany. I love traveling and exploring new cultures. I’ve also been an immigrant for six years, living in two countries (the USA and Hungary).
While in Austria and Germany, I was reminded once again that RESPECT is such an important value that WE all need to embrace.
The world has become so diverse, with people living or visiting from all over. To maintain the environment and culture of each place, we all have a responsibility.
Respecting other cultures is crucial, and unfortunately, I experienced some unpleasant situations last week. I witnessed people disrespecting the places they were in and treating one another poorly.
I believe that if WE — travelers, immigrants, and locals — respect one another, there is nothing more we need. WE are all human, and WE are all ONE.
I hope that, sooner rather than later, we will have a world that is much more peaceful and full of JOY.
