How to TRUST The Universe’s Plan Even Though it’s NOT Yours!

A story from two weeks ago…

As I’m writing these lines, I’m still working on trusting and believing that The Universe has my back and has a better plan for me than mine. Today is Monday and I am supposed to have my promise ceremony this Saturday. However, I didn’t hear any good news from my boyfriend yesterday. He said his mom was not feeling well and I am in a deep doubt of whether our ceremony is going to happen or what? We planned lots of things, we already spent so much time, energy and money into our ceremony. And I feel like it is almost going to fall apart and I have no control over whatever the outcome will be…

We all plan things or try to plan our life without thinking that there is a higher power over us. The power who knows better and plans ahead of us. We just want and plan and expect things to unfold in a way we want them to be. But not always our plan matches with The Universe’s.

So what to do when we are in fear and try to feel peaceful?

First of all it is not an overnight thing. You really have to put some effort and time into it. However, you can start practicing these five steps to feel peace when you think things are falling apart.

  1. Breathe: You don’t have to know exactly how to breathe efficiently nor need to be an expert on breathe work. Just simply breathe in and breathe out slowly. This will help you to get your heartbeat on a normal path.
  2. Distract your mind: Find something else to focus on and try not to think about whatever you feel is not working in your way. Do something different than what you were already doing. This will help your mind to think about something else but the issue that disturbed your peace.
  3. Practice gratitude: Focusing on what is already working in your life will help you to create more of what you want instead of what you don’t want. Thinking about all of your blessings will change your mood immediately into a more peaceful way.
  4. Hope for the best: Never lose your hope for anything in life. Even though it seems impossible, there is always a way! Think about what you want to happen. Think about what can happen that is the best thing for you.
  5. Pray: This is the most important step you need to do. Pray for the highest good for all and then let it go. Now you are at a point where you are aware that there is nothing you can do. So you let go…

And remember, we all are spirits who have a human experience in this world. Whatever happens, it is for us!
