How to be motivated to write every single day

As an 8-year-old blog writer and aspiring author for the past few months, I find it difficult to come up with something to write. Sometimes, I don’t feel as inspired as I want myself to be. Do you ever feel this way?

What do you do when the inspiration is not around you?

Here is what I do and it has been helping my journey. I hope you find it beneficial for your own writing journey.

There is a famous actor in Turkey and he shared a thought one of his speeches that really pulled me in it. From that time, I started doing what exactly he suggested. He said “You have to open your store every single day, even if there are no customers. You need to do what you are meant to do no matter what the circumstances are.” He continued and called all authors by sharing a story from a famous writer in Turkey. He said “One day, I asked a famous writer how he found something to write every single day. And he replied by saying even if there is no inspiration, I get up, take my computer to the balcony, and I write whatever I see around me. I keep my hands and my brain working. I keep writing every single day because my computer is my store to write and I open it every day.” After a while, all those stories he wrote from his balcony turned into a best-selling novel.

I was inspired when I first heard this story and it really pushed me to write every single day.
