Why making 7 figures a year doesn’t matter? — Social Media is “the new social norms!”

“What is she talking about? Of course I am dying to make 7 figures a year. I want even more!”

If that’s you, keep reading…

I hate to say that it IS important to make whatever figures you want to make, and the money is a survival thing. BUT! I don’t want you to lose your soul on this goal.

Since social media is a thing in our lives, I hate to use it sometimes and mostly I hate to see people getting depressed. That’s why I first wrote these two blogs: YOU are NOT your social media and what makes you who you are and how can you uncover your authentic self?

Think about how much happier you would be if there was no social media? You wouldn’t know what other people do, how much money they make and how “happy” they are.

Pause here, really pause and think…

Don’t quit social media especially now with the pandemic, you need to follow the world in addition to the news on TV. HOWEVER, challenge yourself ever day to look at your social media purposely. When you click the social media button on your phone, don’t get bothered by the first thing you see on the screen, don’t change your feelings in a high or low way. Yes, you read it correctly, not in a high or a low way. Because if you get affected that extremely by the things that you don’t know how real they are, then it is not good for your mental health. It means you can get into any feelings very quickly including #depression.

Don’t allow the online stuff to change your feelings quickly, instead let it guide YOU in the way of who you want to become. You can choose who to follow, who to talk to and why to do it at all. And if anything doesn’t feel right to you, LEAVE it. Sometimes the order can go like this:

LESSON, LEARN and LEAVE

When you get triggered by someone’s post, it means there is a lesson for you right there. Look at it, embrace it and learn from it. Then don’t let it bother you every time, just leave. You are not a tree! And, you absolutely don’t have to feed your mind with the things that don’t serve you. (yes including your friends and family members)

I haven’t talked about the #7figures yet? I know, I am aware It is hidden in all the things I just shared. The main idea is to not get affected by social media like social norms! Social media is the new social norm!

With that being said, making 7 figures or having an online business is the new social norm that has been taught to you. You have to have the influencers life or at least have to post like them. WHY? Do you want to? Would you be happy in that life? Maybe yes but what if the answer is NO?

Only you can know what feels right to you. And, because I have been there, because I have had so many friends and clients got affected by the social media norms, I want you to be aware of who you really are and what you REALLY want in this life. Your life doesn’t rely on the celebrities’ perfect life, the influencers’ sales funnels, or the social media filters.

I close with #YOUDOYOU and that’s AUTHENTIC!
