Why You Shouldn’t Start Your New Year’s Resolutions
Have you started your new year, checking the to-do lists of your goals, hitting the gym…?
I have not. I am planning to start my 2024 tomorrow because I was traveling and was sick for a couple of days. But even before these circumstances, I had no intention of beginning my new year immediately.
And here is why I didn’t and why you can start whenever you want, too:
If you recall, I shared the Pause for JOY challenge a couple of times before Christmas and always emphasized the need to take a break from life for our mind, body, and soul.
I didn’t want to overwhelm myself with new year craziness, new goals, and the pressure to start them as soon as the calendar turned. I wanted to listen to my body and allow life to unfold for me.
When you allow life to unfold and catch up with your dreams, you’ll be more at ease in achieving your goals and desires.
